Cabin Fever

MSA Drama Workshop Presents an Inaugural "Bull Ring" Production of Cabin Fever by Joan Schenkar

"It's sitting around like this in the winter makes the mind turn to blood n' gore."

We have been collectively sitting for far longer than just winter. While our minds might not turn to "blood n' gore," it sure has been entertaining to examine this play with the dedicated actors who chose it. Oriana Haynes, Patrick Rakes, and Lucas Webber play three elderly porch dwellers who let their conversation ramble and uncover truths about the twisted fictional world they inhabit. Winter turns to Thaw, hunger turns to desperation, and desperation turns to dry nonchalance about neighbors eating each other...hilarity and suspense ensue. We invite you to join us for an outdoor performance to get outside and dust off our own cabin fever with some laughs. Please note that the content of this play is for audience members who are 13 years and older. Parental Discretion Advised.

This production will be "al fresco" in the Bull Ring (the central field between Caton Hall and Old Main) with socially distanced hay bales to mark pod spacing for the audience. We suggest reserving a "bale" for your family/party by emailing Mr. C @ ccelella@millerschool.org. Please feel free to bring a blanket and picnic for the full experience! This production is free for the MSA community and families!

There will be a limited run of TWO shows ONLY. April 26th @ 7pm and April 28th @ 7pm. Come join us! In case of cancellation due to weather, another show will be performed the following week.
