Rachel has traveled the globe and lived throughout the U.S., including on both coasts and in the Mountain West, but she's thrilled to now call Charlottesville home! Drawing on her background in broadcast journalism and a stint as an elementary school librarian, she feels honored to convey Miller’s story through community engagement. The more she learns of Miller’s rich 150-year history, the more eager she is to help revive its institutional archive. Rachel’s family moved to the area so her son, Anderson, could attend the nature-based, play-based program at Seven Rivers and her daughter, Evan, could learn on the farm and join Miller’s cycling team.
