Maverick Story: Mandela

Mandela Browman might be one of the fastest players ever to step foot on Farina Field. The senior standout helped lead the Mavericks to a State Championship in 2025, and he is now sprinting and swinging full speed in pursuit of a second championship. Known on the Hill for his quick smile and friendly demeanor, Mandela is one of the fiercest competitors in high school baseball. His talents on the field and in the classroom have been recognized by many of the top Universities in the country. Mandela has committed to play next season at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill—one of the nation’s best public universities and one of the nation’s most successful baseball teams.
