Presleigh Braxton on her way to scoring 1,000 points as a Lady Mav.

On November 29, 2022, Presleigh Braxton scored her thousandth point as a Miller School of Albemarle basketball player. In an away game against Seton, she sent the ball through the net becoming the fourth Lady Mav in history to score one thousand points. The following night, in a game against Massaponax in Alumni Gym, Presleigh’s remarkable accomplishment was recognized with a commemorative basketball decorated in teal and green. 

Presleigh led the Mavericks to a Division II State Championship title last season and was named the Division II Player of the Year. She has been a member of the varsity basketball team since her 8th grade year. In addition to basketball, Presleigh is on the volleyball team and softball team. She recently committed to play college softball at Bowie State University in Maryland.
