Joel Adeline grew up in Washington State and studied education at Grove City College in western Pennsylvania, before earning a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College at Arizona State University. Joel has previously taught history, social studies and science courses, coached and served in administration roles at independent and public charter schools in North Carolina, Washington State and Massachusetts.
Joel brings many years of independent school soccer coaching experience to the Boys Varsity Soccer program, which includes a career winning percentage of 91%, a 22-0 undefeated state championship season in Washington state that resulted in a Top 10 national ranking for all high schools teams in 2014.
Away from school, Joel values the time he spends with his family, which includes his wife, Cali, a native Virginian, and his daughters, Aila and Alma. The Adeline family loves to travel via home exchanges, listen to records while cooking vegetarian meals and play in and around their Batesville home.
