The Miller School Cross Country Program focuses on development and base training for new runners, who work through speed, strength, and long-distance workouts each week, with a goal of being able to race in a 5 kilometer competition by the end of the season. Experienced and elite runners will compete in varsity races against the best teams in central Virginia. The season consists of head-to-head meets against local teams, large invitational races, and conference and state championships in the late autumn.
The season runs through the beginning of the fall semester through early November. Runners of all ability levels are welcome and encouraged to come out for the cross country team.
