Miller School Announces Sesquicentennial Annual Fund Campaign and New Level of Bell Tower Society

Ronald North commits $225,000 to Miller School in honor the upcoming 150th Anniversary of MSA’s founding.
The Miller School of Albemarle is thrilled to announce a $225,000 commitment to the school from Miller alumnus Ronald North, Class of 1964, and his wife Sandi. The gift commitment includes a pledge of $25,000 a year for the next five years to the Annual Fund, taking the Miller School through its Sesquicentennial year and beyond, ensuring continuous funding for the mission of the school: to create opportunities for discovery and reflection by engaging the minds, hands, and hearts of our students.
In honor of the Norths, the Miller School will add a new donor level to the Bell Tower Society to honor donors who donate $25,000 or more each year. Donors will now be celebrated in the Bell Tower Society at the following levels:
Diamond Bell Tower Level: $25,000+
Platinum Bell Tower Level: Gifts of $10,000 - $24,999
Gold Bell Tower Level: Gifts of $5000 or more
Silver Bell Tower Level: Gifts of $1000-$4999
Bronze Bell Tower Level: Gifts of $250-$999
Head of School, J. Michael Drude, remarked: "We are extremely grateful for this level of commitment from the Norths, which will assist our annual fund through our Sesquicentennial celebration in 2028 and beyond. Their commitment to Miller as leaders in our annual fund is commendable. I am grateful for the Miller School students and faculty who will benefit from the rewards of this generous gift for years to come.”
