Baccalaureate Address
One of the highest honors for a teacher at MSA is to be selected by the senior class to give the Baccalaureate Address the Friday before graduation. Each spring, the senior class votes to decide who will send them off with words of wisdom about life and the future.
This year, Mr. David Riddick has been chosen by the class of 2019. He will address the students during Friday night’s Baccalaureate service. Mr. Riddick has been teaching history and coaching lacrosse in Virginia for nearly forty years. He is widely known as one of the most successful teachers in the state. Mr. Riddick has been recognized as History Teacher of the Year and was inducted into the Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2017.
Mr. Riddick is admired and respected by students and faculty alike at MSA. His address will certainly inspire the class of 2019 on Friday.
