The Road Ahead
Jane Tullis signed a national letter of intent with Marian University to race for the school’s Division 1 cycling team. Marian University won USA Cycling Collegiate National Championships in 2018 and has been the college of choice for some of America’s most decorated female cyclists over the past decade. Graduates of Marian University include current professional road cycling National Champion, Coryn Rivera, as well as cyclocross star Kaitie Keough.
Marian University will get a Maverick cyclist and student with Tullis. She is an honors student and one of the top-ranked junior cyclists in the country.
Jane had a remarkable 2018 season. She finished second place in the National Championship road race and raced for the USA National Team in Europe. This was her first full season as a road cyclist. Previously, she balanced bike racing with triathlon. In 2017, Jane represented the United States at triathlon World Championships before shifting her training exclusively to cycling.
Jane will no doubt take advantage of all the opportunities that Marian will provide her on the bike and in the classroom.
