Living on Miller School’s amazing campus in Charlottesville, Virginia (voted Happiest Place to Live by Outside Magazine) is a dream come true for our students and faculty. Many of the friendships you will make at MSA will last a lifetime and will open you to a world of different perspectives, cultures, and experiences. With boarding students from 11 states and 16 countries (6 continents), living at MSA is full of meaningful relationships and experiences that will shape your view of the world.

Why be a Boarding School Student at Miller School of Albemarle?

Miller School offers five and seven day boarding for girls and boys. Our boarding students come from around the world to live and learn on our stunning campus in Charlottesville, Virginia. We typically have over fifteen nations represented on campus each year—our boarding population is incredibly diverse and vibrant. With a total of eighty (40 girls and 40 boys) boarding spots available each year, it is an intimate student-life experience. There are two dorms—Wayland Hall for the girls and Old Main for the boys. Girls have single-occupancy rooms and boys share spcious rooms with one or two roommates depending on the size of the room.
