Fine Arts Stories
From spontaneous moments to award-winning photographs, the work tells the story of Miller School through the eyes of a student who sees beauty in both the big and the small.
Lilly Kolbrener learns the art of throwing mud on a wheel and discovers not just pottery but how pottery connects people to the world.
Casey Klau returns MSA to its roots in her pursuit of fashion design, sewing, and woodcarving.
For nearly fifteen years, Mr. C has been sharing the joys of music and the performing arts with students on the Hill.
Whether you are a Red Devil or a Maverick, the caroling soul of Miller School is palpable in Mandy Ma’s frosted depiction of a still day on the Hill.
Sometimes the artwork tells the entire story. This is one of those cases. Julia Martins captures the beauty of wildlife and relationships masterfully in her recent work.
MORE INFORMATION
-
Studio music offers individual instruction in nearly every area of music. Students have access to six practice studios, a recording studio, and collaborative work areas. Students range from accomplished performers to novice musicians. MSA’s individualized instructions plans and small class sizes allow all musicians to excel in their respective areas of study. To provide collaborative energy in each class, the instructor has students work together to perform a group piece in morning assembly.
