Senior Rock
A long-standing tradition at Miller School of Albemarle is the painting of senior rock. Every spring, seniors paint their names on the large rock on the far edge of the lower field. This mammoth rock is the gateway to the school’s 12-acre lake, rolling meadows, and farming operation. It is immediately recognizable by the bright colors of paint and the names of every graduating senior.
While not every senior was able to sign this year due to distance learning, absent seniors had their names painted on the rock by their classmates to ensure they are recognized for the next twelve months on this iconic rock.
