Athlete Profile
Lucas Adam signs Division 1 baseball commitment letter to the University of Dayton. Lucas has been a stand-out player on MSA’s state championship baseball team since his 8th grade year. In addition to his remarkable athletic talents, Lucas is an honors student and leader among his peers on the Hill.
We sat down with Lucas to learn more about his next step and the impact MSA has had on him as an athlete and student.
What about University of Dayton made you select it?
I chose Dayton because of how excited the coaches seemed to be about me and because of their coaching philosophies. I fell in love with the campus and the atmosphere at Dayton and it really just seemed like somewhere I would like to call home.
How did MSA help you grow as a player?
Coming to Miller had a definite impact on my career as a baseball player. I don't think I would be where I am now without Coach Wagner and the rest of the coaching staff here on the hill. They have pushed me every single day to become the best version of myself both as a person and in my athletic abilities.
I believe that they have set me up well for the practices in college and the competitive nature that comes from Division One baseball.
