2018 REUNION WEEKEND
FRIDAY, JUNE 1
REUNION REGISTRATION - The Bistro, 10 am - 4 pm (moves to Reception at 4 pm)
Let us know you have arrived, get your name tag, ask questions, and register for events that you haven’t yet booked. The Bistro will be set up as a lounge space on 6/1 for those of you who wish to check in and then remain on campus for the afternoon. Wifi will be available.
MSA ATHLETICS – location TBD, 2:30 - 4 PM
James Braxton, Athletic Director, will give an overview of sports and activities offered at MSA. Mr. Braxton is coach of our very successful girls basketball team. MSA has a long tradition of encouraging all students to participate in a sport. To help them find an activity that they love, we have offerings from baseball to yoga.
OPENING RECEPTION - Old Main Foyer, 4 - 6 PM
Join us in the foyer for a reception for alumni, faculty, and staff. This is an over-21 event.

ALUMNI ASSOCIATION BUSINESS MEETING –Dining Room, Old Main, 9 - 11 AM
The community is invited to the annual Homecoming Alumni Association meeting. Learn more about the Association as they elect new officers and plan for the coming year.
STORY CORNER – The Bistro, 9 – 11 AM
Bring a friend and tell your Miller story or a story you recall from your time here. Inspired by Story Corps, we’ll record your story and take your picture for posterity.
ALUMNI GOLF GAME – 11 AM – 4 PM, Old Trail, Crozet--18 holes with cart
LUNCH, 11 – 1 PM, free--Visit the dining hall for salad and sandwich options.
MAVERICKS LUNCH – 11:30 – 1:00 pm, $75/person
Mike Drude, Head of School, will host lunch for alumni who graduated within the last 15 years. Attendees will become part of the Mavericks Giving Society.

These activities are designed to be fun and entertaining, and we hope you find one or more that you can enjoy with your friends, family, and classmates.
- 1 - 3:00 PM Pick-up Basketball, Gym (Great for spectators as well as players!)
- 1 - 3:00 PM Chickapig for Beginners, The Library, Old Main
Created by Charlottesville entrepreneur and guitar designer for Dave Matthews, Brian Calhoun, Chickapig is played with farm animals trying to make their way across the board to get through the goal on the other side. As expected, there are obstacles, but we’re here to teach you to play – with new friends and hilarity!

- 1 - 4:00 PM Story Corner, Bistro
- 2 - 3:30 PM Bike the Trails, meet near the Bistro--MSA has amazing trails where our kids test their skills and train for races. We will help you explore the trails. Bring your own bike.
- 4 - 5:00 PM State of Miller School of Albemarle, The Gym--New head of school, Mike Drude, will give an overview of the current standing of Miller School and discuss his vision for the future of the school. Q&A session to follow.
BBQ AT THE BISTRO 6 -7:30 PM, $18
BBQ and all the fixins’ will be available at the Bistro. Grab a plate and find your favorite spot on The Hill. (Veggie option available)
SUNSET ON THE HILL 7:30 - 10 pm, The Bullring
Join us for an adults-only evening event. The music will start at 7:30. Dress is casual. As the sun sets, we’ll offer an open bar, snacks, and a band. Full Plate will play rock cover songs from the 60s to today.
SUNDAY, JUNE 3

POLO AT KING FAMILY VINEYARD - noon until 4:00 PM
For those of you who wish to join us, MSA will have a tent at the Polo game at King Family Vineyard. Snacks provided.
Checkout from dorm rooms and camping sites by noon on Sunday.
Feel free to also spend some time wandering the campus. You’ll see our new solar powered gazebo and covered outdoor space at the baseball field. Our bike trails are ever changing and growing. Some spaces will look just as you left them while others will pique your curiosity. Please be respectful of the residences here on campus as most of them are occupied.
