Luke Robbins joined Miller School of Albemarle in 2018 as a math teacher and cross-country coach. He earned his B.S. and M.A.Ed. from the College of William & Mary, where he studied Mathematics and Mathematics Education. While at William & Mary, Robbins was a member of the varsity swim team for four years, earning accolades such as all-conference and school record holder. Robbins continues to swim competitively, and in 2017 he set a U.S. Master’s Swimming National Record. He also enjoys running and cycling on the trails at Miller.
Since graduating from William & Mary, Robbins has taught for five years in Virginia. He especially enjoys working with high-level students in AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus BC. He has helped many students to earn 5s on both respective AP Exams. Robbins enjoys working with high school students and talking to them about their goals for college and beyond. He sees adolescence as a pivotal time in a person’s life and tremendously enjoys his role in the process.
