Thank You!

Thank you to all of our donors for helping us meet our two challenge matches! Your support resulted in contributions of over $700,000, fully funding our comprehensive renovation of Alumni Gym.

Support MSA

Since the founding of the Miller School of Albemarle in 1878, we have relied on the generosity of our supporters to help us provide a high-quality, comprehensive educational experience for each student. The days have long since passed when the original generosity of our founding benefactor, Samuel Miller, was sufficient to operate the School, and we greatly appreciate the parents, alumni, and friends who assist us.

MSA is a non-profit organization with 501(c)(3) status granted by the IRS in August, 1947.  MSA follows a gift policy consistent with all legal requirements and, as such, donations and gifts made to MSA will receive gift treatment consistent with that policy and all of the appropriate conditions of the IRS statute. Receipts will be promptly provided to donors by the Advancement Office and will reflect the amount of the gift, that Miller School of Albemarle is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, that all contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law and that no goods or services were provided in exchange for financial contributions.

The Annual Fund supports the day-to-day work of our faculty and staff by bridging the gap between tuition revenue and actual operating costs. Occasionally, the Annual Fund may be used to raise funds for special projects that will greatly enhance the experience of all MSA students.

Capital Giving, which supports building and renovation projects, helps to preserve and enhance the unique architectural heritage of our Victorian Gothic Buildings while keeping our infrastructure up-to-date and operational.

Gifts to the Miller School of Albemarle Endowment support financial aid scholarships, academic programs, and our faculty and staff.
